Replaced a plastic tea kettle with this stainless steel one when I did a kitchen makeover. It is so noisy when heating up you cannot hear the kitchen radio over it. Looks nice and I like the stand it sits on and heats fast. But if you want wit this is not for you.

It has a great safety feature which is that once the water comes to a boil after a few seconds it will automatically shut off. I like this feature because if I happen to walk away no worries about the pot boiling dry.

But with this one you don’t have to hide it and take it out every time you want more tea. It looks great on the counter, plus the kettle is removable from the base so you can bring it to your table and fill many cups as it holds almost 60.

This is my fourth electric kettle. First Cuisinart model. Sleek, sturdy design. nice for counter top. Heats water to perfect temperature for tea. Handy water level viewer. Easy to read with blue lighting. Easily swivels on its base 360 degrees for more convenient usage. I didn’t give kettle a five star rating for two reasons. Difficult to clean. Tapered top opening does not allow for hand cleaning inside of kettle. Same if using long handled brush. Also the spout filter doesn’t serve a purpose for my needs but is one more thing narrowing the top opening. Mineral build up may become an issue sooner rather than later. Time will tell.
