Yes, it does what it says it’s going to do, and yes it does it well. Started off by making Rigatoni. The drawback is that the unit is VERY difficult to clean. The main unit is not submersible, and therefore almost impossible to get clean. The removable plate and auger can be soaked and cleaned, and dishwasher safe .
