I use this to grind up sucant for recipes. I have tried grinding it with another grinder, which was not only messy, but didn’t grind it all. I also tried an attachment to my immersion blender that is like a mini food processor took forever and it scratched up the plastic and wasn’t very fine. This grinder made it fine really fast with very little mess.

I admit I didn’t think I needed this but I instantly became a convert. It’s bigger than my coffee grinder and I’m the kind who doesn’t have a full Cuisinart food processor but just a mini Cuisinart which is small, simple and just fine. Recently I started making jerk chicken that has 21 ingredients and the mortar and pestle are a joke. So I figured this was the perfect Christmas gift my husband could get me. I will never return to hand chopping or that sorry mortar and pestle and I am enjoying buying whole seed spices to keep around. Such a difference in taste and texture, I should not have waited so long.

Bought this to grind poppyseeds for poppyseed rolls. Wanted to stop using the super sweet canned ones. But I was skeptical. This did a decent job. Not as good as the poppyseed mill my grandmother used but it got the job done. Also used it to grind cumin seeds after I ran out of powder for chili. Wow. Don’t think I’ll ever buy powder again. Easy to clean. Looks nice next to my other stainless appliances on countertop. Plan to use it a lot more.
