It makes good coffee but two negatives. It is difficult to pour water in the main reservoir due to the width of the machine, the interference of the lid to the maker and the small size of the opening to pour the water. Also the removal reservoir for the single serve side easily leaks

I have had this machine for about a month and it is just what I wanted. The black stainless model matches my slate appliances, the machine is easy to use and set-up for delayed brewing, it is easy to clean, the coffee tastes great and I like not having to use filters anymore. The only downfall is the small spout to pour water in but minor in my opinion.

The coffee maker works perfectly but I’ve had 2 instances (this was a Christmas gift so I’ve only been using it for about 3 weeks) where the single server needle caused the k-cup pod to open across the entire top causing an overflow of coffee grounds and a mess to clean up. This needle is in a C shape vs Keurig’s pointed one. It’s possible the pod was over pressurized so I’m not giving up on it but if it’s happened to others, it could be a design defect.

The last few coffeemakers we’ve had did not seem to brew the coffee hot enough. So we have been looking for a coffee maker with a hot setting and found this one online. We love the option of a full pot of coffee or a single cup. We brew a pot of regular coffee every morning, and my husband enjoys a single cup of decaf at night. (All on the HOT setting!) It’s easy to operate and looks good with our other kitchen appliances. Cuisinart’s reputation influenced this purchase, and we have not been disappointed.

I’ve been a Cuisinart fan for many years. This is at least my 3rd or 4th one. I end up buying a new one not because the previous one is broken/faulty but because I want a different color (I donate the old ones). I love the heat feature where you can make the water low/medium/high in temperature. Purchased this one to have the option of using single serve at night or when guests prefer it. So far everything works great on both sides. If you are worried about space the size of this version isn’t much bigger than the carafe coffeepot. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the water heat feature doesn’t apply to the single serve side which was disappointing. FYI the 2 units work independently of each other but can’t be run at the same time. It would have been nice to include the water heat feature on both sides but not a deal breaker.

We are loving this machine except for how hard it is to pour water into the reservoir. Wish the single cup reservoir was bigger so it could be used for both. But it is fast to brew which is better than our last one.

This coffee maker is the best of both worlds by combining a K-cup dispenser and a pot reservoir. We use both sides every day and love the ease of making a cup of coffee. I particularly like the alert tones when the coffee pot has finished brewing and ready to pour. Then it alerts you again later when the warming plate is turning off. Excellent coffeemaker!!

Great machine, the only thing I wish was better is how you fill the brewer with water. Maybe it is just me but I don’t thik there is enough room at the top of the machine to gracefully fill the brewer

This is my third Cuisinart coffee pot. Both of the old ones still work, I just wanted to upgrade. Unfortunately I’m not thrilled with this coffee center one. It makes good coffee, looks wonderful on my counter and is working well….BUT the design is awkward and not well thought out. Pouring the water into the carafe side is really inconvenient. You need to hold the full carafe of water nearly above your head to pour it into the small opening. The first time my husband did it, most of the water went down the back of the machine. I guess we’ll eventually get accustomed to it, but it’s not very well designed. I like the single serve side just fine and really like that you don’t need to add water for every single cup. I can’t give it a better rating than 3 stars though because of the poor design on the carafe side.
