My wife loves the convenience of making pots of coffee, She drinks more coffee than I do and likes it strong. Being able to choose Bold brew lets her make a full pot of strong coffee of which she’ll take a hot cup in the morning and put the rest in the fridge to make iced coffee for the next day or so. I like the convenience of K-cups to make iced coffee with different flavors quickly.

This is a decent coffee pot. Some of the pros are fairly hot coffee, ease of use with the K-cup, and the K-cup resovoir, simple pre-programming feature, sleek stainless finish, and it makes a pot of coffee in a reasonable amount of time (K-cup is very quick). Some of the downsides- no removable reservoir for the coffee pot, and the numbers are difficult to read on the built-in reservoir. It is also awkward to pour water into the back sides, behind where the filter goes, For some reason, the K-cup coffee grinds are ending up all over the top of the K-Cup area, making a lot of clean up. My husband likes the fact that you can set the coffee to bold, and the funnel feature for the pot of coffee is a plus; the hot water sits in the grounds longer. Overall, we are pleased with it, but not over-the-moon. Our percolator makes a better-tasting and hotter cup of coffee. Just not as convenient though.

I purchased this coffee pot to replace a Cuisinart pot that I loved. I like the fact that I could make a single cup and also a full pot. The problems that I have had with this pot are that if you don’t line up the coffee pods perfectly in the single pot they explode and the coffee drips all over. I’m not sure if it’s the coffee maker or the pods. This has happened twice so far with two different pod brands. Another thing that happens is that the large pot must be placed perfectly lined up or it spills all over. This has occurred only once because I’ve learned my lesson the hard way. Because of this I’m afraid to use the auto timer. Instead, I just sit and watch the coffee go directly into the pot. The good thing about this pot is that the coffee is very hot and the thermos keeps the coffee hot for at least an hour and a half. Cuisinart is a great company and it makes great products. I hope after reading my review they can make adjustments to improve these problems.

Although not the same quality as my Keurig was, it serves the purpose needed. Material is mostly plastic and process is not as fast with the K-cups.

We are very happy with the combo coffeemaker and single serve. Nothing is perfect or pleases everyone all the time, but the convenience of having two in one plus a thermal carafe checks all the boxes. Sure I wish 2 hour old coffee was warmer, and the carafe weighs a ton. Now hoping it lasts long enough to justify the price.

Your metal coffee filter give coffee a metal taste. Had to go to store a buy a plastic one. Been making coffee work k-cup. Beside that it’s a good machine.

The coffee does not stay hot as is does with a a glass pot. Usually by the time I go back for a second cup, it’s warm versus hot. If I have a third, I need to microwave it. Additionally, when you get near the bottom, you practically need to turn the pot upside down to pour out what’s left or take the top off altogether.

The single serve splatters coffee when it is brewing. I had to purchase taller mugs in an attempt to prevent the splatters. Also, I have found it difficult to use my own coffee. Coffee grounds get in my mug even if I use a mini filter.
