I had just an individual air fryer that I liked because it would remind me half way through and it would also alert when it was preheated to put items in the fryer. I also liked the nonstick basket for easy cleanup. This does not have those functions. I have not tried the toaster or any of the other functions yet.

It’s a great size for 2 people. I hve problems setting & resetting time, temp,etc. It cooks fast & It’s difficult to discern when it’s finished cooking b/c the fan continues after the heat is off. I understand it’s a safety feature.Operationally could be easier. Haven’t used airfryer yet. Still trying to master basic settings.

I researched extensively and finally decided on the previous model right as this one came on the market. Fortunately I got the new model which corrects several flaws and I like the digital controls. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. My ‘learning to air fry’ experience has required some initial learning by burning on a few things due to inattentiveness and inexperience on my part. I now cook at lower temperature, use the light more, check more frequently, and cook for astonishingly shorter times from toast to broil to bake to fry…. delicious and delightful addition to the kitchen plus much easier and faster cooking and cleanup. Glad I bought it and thrilled that I got an ‘oven’ style which I mistakenly thought would take long to heat up.

I purchased the toaster oven/air fryer based on friends enthusiasm for their air fryers and the stated quality of the food cooked in the air fryer. I have not been disappointed. Everything I have air fried has turned out great. Cooking times are significantly reduced and the outcomes are really good. I find the digital controls a bit challenging especially when turning off the oven. There is nothing on the display that says “off” so I always wonder if the oven is truly turned off.

Significant improvement over the prior model, temperature control much-improved, still not precise if you’re cooking requires that. Issue with the drip pan under the basket having the coating peel off appears to be fixed. The controls seem to be following the same method as instant pot and other cooking appliances, it can take some getting used to.

The fryer’s door is convenient , but all I’ve really cooked in it so far is breads. They end up crisp on outside and soft on the inside. The enclosed instruction pamphlet it terrible. Instructions confusing. So far it’s a very expensive toaster.
