I purchased this because my son wanted to try making Belgian Waffles. This waffle maker from Cuisinart is perfect. I like the fact that it beeps to let us know when the waffle maker is ready and we get to choose a setting as to how light or dark we like our waffles. The lights also let us know when to put in the batter and another beep when the waffles are done. The waffles don’t stick and my son has used this everyday since I purchased it. I would highly recommend this waffle maker if you are in the market for one or as a gift. It is well worth the price.

If you buy this… it’s a good waffle iron, but waffles do not come out as crisp as they should. Maybe it doesn’t allow enough steam to escape. After a few minutes on a rack in a low oven, they will crisp up.
