It makes waffles. I like the lights for getting ready and ready and done. Makes it simple to use except for how long to set the dial for doneness or leaving the batter in. That gets simple after a few tries. No.6 was too long, some burning. Maybe need some spray type oil. No. 5 was still a little long for me but 4.5 was just right. Crisp and fluffy in the middle. I put some oil before I heat it up. Not alot, just a few drops on the bottom and with a piece of paper towel I work it in bottom and top. No need for any more oil than that. Takes some time to cook. I like it.
