Had my eye on this before I purchased another brand that “flips” w/ removable plates, didn’t like that it only made one round waffle in four sections and how it wasn’t storage friendly.THIS waffle maker however is FANTASTIC!!!! The first use I used veg. spray on the plates, but I found that you don’t need to, for now anyway.As long as the plates hold up and don’t have any unforeseen issues I highly recommend this waffle maker to anyone who loves waffles!!

Love this maker for waffles especially when you can put the grates in dishwasher. Baked on blueberries come off with a paper towel. Simple and easy.

This makes terrific Belgian Waffles. We use Krusteaz waffle mix and they turn out perfect. Crispy outside, light inside. Timing has consistently been 7.5 minutes to heat the appliance to setting 4, and 4.5 minutes for each batch of waffles to cook on setting 4. We found setting 5 to be too done, and setting 3 too light. We tried the pancake plates once, not thrilled with it. The pancakes were bland compared to doing them in a pan on the stove.

This is so easy to use! I’ve never actually owned a waffle maker before and I always assumed they weren’t worth it because clean-up would be such a pain. Not true here! Making them is easy, they cook pretty quickly, and clean-up is so easy. Honestly, I love this thing and we now make homemade waffles for breakfast every week or biweekly. I never would’ve thought! Haven’t used the pancake plates yet so can’t comment on that.

Good waffle maker, compact but makes large waffles. Have not yet tried pancakes. Only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is it feels a wee bit flimsy when you open/close it, so hope the hinges last.

This is the best waffle maker we have ever owned. We have the kind you flip over but I wanted something that made deep, square waffles. I found this one and gave it a go. They come out perfect and just the way I like. Also I love the removable plates. It makes cleanup so much easier. Having the pancake plates is a bonus so you can do both waffles and pancakes without dirtying multiple pans and machines.

I’ve been looking for a good waffle maker for awhile. I came across the Cuisinart youtube video for this product and saw that it came with waffle plates and pancake plates. I have numerous Cuisinart products and I love them all, so I figured this would be a good purchase. And yes it was! I love this thing to death. I thought I was just gonna use it for waffles and pancakes, but its’ so much more than that. I make sandwiches on it, eggs and breakfast sausages. This is a mini power house.

I really like this waffle maker. Just check out my scales. I’ve gained a few pounds since buying it. I need to slow down. I guess there is no “low calorie” version of a waffle. I need to pace myself. They turn out great. However, I think the ones in the recipe book are a little heavy. Maybe they are more nutritious but my boxed recipes make a lighter waffle. I’ll switch to them in the future.
