This is a newer version of the Cuisinart Belgian waffle maker I had for about 7 years. (I bought this new one because the hinges on the old one wore out and I could no longer flip it.) It works perfectly and it does have a “ready” light indicator, but because I gave 4 stars because it does not have a sound to indicate when the waffle is ready, and I need to monitor the waffle cooking more closely.

Love this belgian wafflemaker! Waffles come out thick and delicious! crispy on outside, fluffy inside. I like how you can set the number for how light or dark you want your waffle. I only wish it would beep when done, that would be perfect. But seriously, its a great product!
