This was my first Belgian waffle maker of this type, and I’m very happy with it. The first waffles I made were perfect (Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix). The measuring cup that came with it is just the right size to make a Greatgreat waffle (contrary to some of the reiviews I’ve seen on YouTube).

Works really well, makes beautiful and delicious waffles, but cleanup can be a drag. No removable plates that can be cleaned and no tray to catch drips equals a real PITA cleanup for Liege waffles.

The Double Belgian Waffle Maker has been such a joy and pleasure to use since its’ arrival in my home. It has made perfectly thick, deep, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside waffles every time! The double maker is perfect for my family of 5, we could eat waffles every day! There are two things I’d take 1 star away for: 1- The knob for adjusting the brownness on the waffle maker is looser than I would expect it be, however it functions as intended when set a little past the number I’d prefer it to be set on. 2- The beep sound once the waffle maker has warmed up sounds off as expected. However, I’ve experienced a few times when the beep sound did not go off once the waffle was done and I’ve had to readjust the browning control knob to get the beep to work or turn it off and back on. Nonetheless, this waffle maker has been a real work horse in my house because we love waffles for breakfast, lunch, dinner or desert! I really tested this waffle maker out as soon as I received it (several days in a row to be exact) to ensure that I had made a good choice with this purchase. Weeks later I can say that this is the best choice for a Belgian waffle maker! The fact that you get two waffles ready to eat at the same time, plus clean up is a simple wipe down with a damp cloth, makes this a no brainer waffle maker choice. Since getting this waffle maker a few days after black Friday, I’ve not only made waffles, but I have made brownies, biscuits stuffed with mozzarella, cheese quesadillas, eggs, waffle churros and I’m thinking of what next as I type LOL! This has been the most fun I’ve ever had with a kitchen appliance in my life!
