Bought this a month ago when our flat waffle iron finally died. First experience was not good as we like to add other ingredients to the batter like apple pieces, walnuts, chocolate chips, etc. on my first attempt with apples and walnuts all the fruit & nuts got caught in the spout that the batter is poured into and the result was a mess in the spout and partially formed waffles. I learned after reading the instructions that any ingredients had to be the size of a mini chocolate chip. I haven’t tried that yet but asumming that works it’s a little disappointing that I have to chop any added ingredients so small. Having said all that, when I made a plain waffle it was very good

I like that it is space saving, but it seems the waffles are hollow – don’t want to overfill and with the adjusted temp rating, they turn out underdone and too dark. There is also more cleanup because of the pour spout. I think I will go back to the standard flat waffle maker.

Works really great. It replaced my horizontal one that I had to flip. I gave it 4 stars because you need to be careful not to touch the hot areas. I don’t need to spray the cooking surface. It has a chime alert when done. Once you know the proper consistency for the batter you will get great waffles. Batter doesn’t run out between the grids.

Besides the small “foot print” of this appliance, I love how there’s no mess to clean up! Waffle batter is perfectly measured with included cup, and waffles come out perfectly every time. Especially appreciate the way the measuring cup can hang on the rim of the batter bowl, eliminating a mess on my countertop.

Perfect waffles every time. No prep of Teflon skillet. Just lightly brush with a clean paper towel after each waffle. Unit is well made both exterior stainless and cooking surface. No muss no fuss. Best waffles maker I’ve owned and this is my 3rd.
