Bought this $35 Culligan US-600 slim undersink water filter system as a replacement for the same filter system in my mancave. (The outlet connection built into the housing of my old one broke apart when replacing the tubing coming from it, no way I could find to fix it.) So replaced with the same exact system. Love it, it is so simple and replacement filters are very cheap. Installed easily. Culligan has offered this simple system for years and I like it a lot. I have the filtered water coming out of the filter outlet and splitting 3 ways: 1) to a standard separate faucet on our sink just for filtered water (I already had installed from before ), 2) to an under the sink instant hot water tank that has its own spigot on the sink for hot beverages, and 3) to my refridgerator/ice maker line which I ran into my undersink area from my fridge with a simple quick 2-way shark connector. We have filter in the fridge, but those in-fridge filters are expensive and I get 2-3 x life and excellent fridge water and ice with this setup. I will also put one of these US-600s under our kitchen sink next.

System did not come with the water line adapter which was need to attach it to our water supply. Had to go to two hardware stores to look for the needed fittings. Once we finally got it installed it was smooth sailing and we love it. Makes a big difference in our water quality and it does not affect our water flow significantly which is a huge plus.

Filter is fairly easy to install. However, this is the second time I have had replace the bottom filter housing as for no apparent reason the bottom filter holder cracks and water everywhere. And No they were not overtightened.
