My wife enjoys drinking a lot of water throughout the day. She is frugal enough not to purchase bottled water, but enjoys the taste of clean water. For the last 4 years we used a Britta pitcher, that was always in the way, left black junk in the water, and had a $8 filter that lasted 2 months. I installed this on the edge of the sink, so cups can sit on the counter. We installed this about 3 months ago, and are very happy. The filter works excellently, and has no issues or funny tastes. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the faucet itself could be heavier duty, but I did buy the cheapest one on the market so you get what you pay for. That being said, it is not flimsy or likely to break anytime soon, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Good simple unit. The three way adapter is course thread. Had to purchase additional fine thread three way adapter.

Product image is misleading.The Level 1 product image shows a faucet head with the display that indicates when it’s time to change the filter. The filter head that came w/the Level 1 system I purchased does not have that feature. As I recall, Culligan’s product literature claims that all ‘Easy-Change’ kits include the same hardware, supposedly providing the Level 1 customer with a seamless upgrade that only requires the purchase of a Level 3 or 4 filter.My expectation was that I could start with the basic system and still be able to take advantage of the filter indicator feature.As well, the design of the handle suggests a trigger or pull/press capability, but to turn on actually requires a turning/twisting action…clockwise on, anti off. I don’t look forward to having to explain that to guests, and worry that someone may damage the mechanism in the process.Online purchase/store pickup, as well as installation (leak free), were simple enough, and faucet operation seems reliable, but I am considering a return due to the misleading product image and non-intuitive product design.

I can’t believe how well this water filter works. The water tastes great and a lot of water comes out. The handle’s design makes it more difficult to operate;

I love this product. Our water tastes flat and dank. I’ve been buying water for drinking and cooking for years. My wife suggested we get a filter. I looked into the pitchers. Costly, small capacity and doesn’t do as well a job as a carbon block filter. Other under the sink filters were connected directly to the faucet and I don’t need all my kitchen sink water filtered.This is a complete kit. I am not the handiest of handymen and I was able to install it. PS the faucet washers metal and plastic are on the base of the faucet. I thought at first the metal washer was the bottom of the faucet.Now my water tastes great, even better than the water I was buying at the store.Thank you Culligan for making a complete kit. Thank you Home Depot for carrying it and thank you to my wife for suggesting it.

Good: System installation was straightforward.Bad: Home Depot product page image indicated the faucet base was similar for all three kits, but the base I received (kit L1) lacked the battery-powered filter change indicator. Faucet ‘lever’ is actually a knob, that turns opposite normal operation.

Everything is easy to assemble. I was replacing a system where the faucet was leaking and not repairable.The neck of the faucet is very lightweight and not very tall. Some items, like a carafe or hot pot don’t fit easily. Overall, it is a satisfactory replacement.

Great simple unit. Easy to installed. Although, if you can not easily access the sink valve there are no fitting to tap on to the shut off valve. I had to by a combo of fitting to adapt to shoot off valve. The shut off vavle would be a better choice for culligan to send fitting to install . love the lack of nasty taste and smell. Great filter and live the options to up grade on filter and will last a year for us.
