I bought the shower head a year ago and just replaced the filter. I have found that my hair and skin do not dry out when I use the filtered shower. The filter package suggests a 6 month life on the filter. I waited a year because I’m cheap. I will continue to do that.

culligan shower filter removes chlorine from the water. i had purchased 5 yrs ago when we had a hardware store that has left Belton,mo so I stopped at 2 of there other locations that no longer stock this filter. They could order it and so can many places on the web but you have to pay shipping and they are more $$ so I am very happy with the service I received and will be back when I need to replace again!

Product gets the job done. Definitely is no replacement to a water filtration system but for added purification, it’s a good product. I personally have hard well water and this helps take the edge off. It needs replaced about every three months, if you don’t replace regularly it will cause build-up and block water flow. I will be repurchasing and I do recommend.

WE have a horrible sulfur smell in our well water. We use a whole house filter and use this Culligan shower head filter as an added precaution. This filter makes the shower head heavier than a non-filter head which causes the shower head holder to droop. Other than that it works great.
