The ambidextrous Cyber Acoustics AC-201 Stereo Headset and Boom Mic is a first-rate stereo headset, uniting comfort, style and performance. With an adjustable, over the head design, the AC-201 is perfect for VOiP and extended gaming periods. The flexible, noise-cancelling boom mic rotates 180 degrees and supple, cushy leatherette ear pads may make you forget you’re even wearing a headset. The AC-201 also features 30mm dynamic drivers and an adjustable boom arm. This headset’s cable terminates in two 3.5mm connections, providing separate mic input and headphone output.

My luck with headset/microphone combinations has not been good — one set after another has failed after a year or so of satisfactory service. Since I’ve only had this one for a week, it’s too soon to know for sure, but so far, things are going well. I use this mostly for Skyping and voice recognition/dictation, and only occasionally for listening to music, so my demands aren’t great. No complaints yet, and it seems to be well designed and well made. At this price, definitely worth the gamble.

I’m using this mostly as a phone headset with a Fiio bluetooth adapter, for work teleconferences, but I also use it to listen to tunes. It works far better than it should for music, and it’s comfortable. Very nice.

After reading multiple reviews on the net, I chose this model for efficiency, cost, and reliability. So far it is working wonderfully as my husband uses it while teaching voice recognition software to respond to his speech patterns. He is a semi-retired attorney teaching paralegal studies at a local college who prefers the old fashioned classroom teaching techniques with essay homework assignments. With over 100 students a semester writing assignments every 3 days, making individual comments on each essay takes considerable time. Hopefully, the voice recognition software will speed up comments and grading with the spoken word. So far, no problems except for a tired voice. Enunciation and clarity are necessary.
