The CP600LCD Intelligent LCD Uninterruptible Power Supply from CyberPower comes equipped with a capacity of 600VA / 340W that delivers power for up to eight electronic devices and helps to safeguard mid- to high-end computer systems against surges/spikes and offers battery backup in the event of brownouts or blackouts. Furthermore, it has integrated EMI/RFI filters. The intelligent multifunction LCD panel also displays real-time UPS vitals for ease of control.
This compact desktop power supply offers eight NEMA 5-15R outlets that are capable of absorbing up to 1,030 Joules for keeping your devices safe against surges and spikes. To keep your devices powered during power outages, four of the outlets deliver power via a 12V / 7Ah lead-acid sealed battery for critical loads. In addition to the power outlets, other connections offered are USB type B, cable/coax (RG6), RJ-11, and RJ-45.
This power supply is ENERGY STAR qualified and operates for up to two minutes with a full load and up to 13 minutes with a half load. Included with the power supply is the PowerPanel Personal edition UPS management software for Windows systems. This software requires minimal system resources and monitors the status of the UPS to help ensure it is working properly. When a power outage does occur, this software automatically closes computer files and shuts down your system. This UPS is also protected by a limited 3-year warranty and offers a $175,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee.

I’m using this is a cabinet that contains a router, NAS, and raspberry pi. Those devices are plugged into the battery backup side. The surge only outlets are being used for a variety of usb chargers (phones, tablets, etc). I was able to get everything plugged in, but I do wish the outlets were spaced just a little farther apart given the size of some transformers. It’s definitely a hefty unit. Overall, I’m very happy with it.

Definitely look at this product if you are looking for a good UPS for your desktop system, especially a Macintosh. I looked at APC units and this one meets or exceeds their specs. Also, you get an actual display of its performance! The included monitoring software leaves a little to be desired, but it does work on macOS, something APC refuses to do! For the money, you can’t do better!

Where we live we get power bumps and outages about 2-3 times a month. My husband seen this in a magazine and urged me to buy it. Every time the power goes out I have to re-boot my computer. I hate having to do this. So I bought one to try. I am so glad I did. After having it about a week, we had a power outage. My computer stayed operational and I didn’t have to re-boot. Hurray! I would recommend this to everyone!

I use this to provide backup power for my satellite internet, wireless router and VOIP phone system. Occasionally, it also powers my laptop and external LCD. Works great and has more than ample reserves. Functions out of the box with Apple Macs and seemlessly integrates with Energy Saver in OS X via the included USB cable. No Cons so far.

It works great right out of the box, but I wouldnt expect anything less. How its working a year or two from now is really what counts. The design is nice for the most part. However, the raised display area gets in the way of large transformer equipped plugs that must be oriented inward (due to the three-pronged layout). I had to use the 2nd Surge outlet for a device because of this design flaw. The construction looks and feels solid. One problem Ive had in the past with another CyberPower UPS I own (CP1500PFCLCD) is a lack of notification of eminent battery failure. My 1500 UPS passed the Self-Test with flying colors right up to the units battery failure, which immediately shut down my PC devices connected to the surge/battery side. I had to reconfigure all my power until a replacement battery arrived (pain in the neck). I hope this model does a better job of reporting low battery conditions during the Self-Test.

Have this unit hooked up to a Ma ini, 2.5 external raid 1 setup, and Netgear router as a personal cloud server. The unit gives my Ma ini and external drive enough time to automatically shutdown, using the included USB cable & power management in Mavericks. I have also noticed this battery pack acts as a great voltage filter/buffer. My commercial complex seems to knock drives offline from voltage spikes and with this new battery pack I have yet to have my external drive pop offline. Biggest con is the unit right out of the box smells pretty nasty like an electrical melted wire smell. The day I opened the box is smelled really bad, this is with the unit off and in the BH box. Plugged it in and the smell dissipated but I’m guessing the smell must be some of the chemicals from the battery and/or plastic(s) of the product. My wife thought something was burning when I opened the box.
