The OR1500PFCRT2U PFC Sinewave UPS from CyberPower is a 2 RU rackmount convertible device with line-interactive topology that provides surge protection and battery backup via sinewave output for department servers, workgroup servers, network devices, and telecom equipment requiring Active PFC power source compatibility. It comes equipped with an output capacity of 1500 VA / 1050W, features an input voltage range of 86-142 VAC at 60 Hz to help correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which helps extend battery life and is useful in areas where power fluctuations occur. This UPS provides an integrated LCD panel for displaying immediate and detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions, alerting users to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime.
When running with a full load, this UPS can power devices for up to 7.7 minutes. When running with a half load of 525W, it can power devices for up to 17 minutes. It can be recharged in around 10 hours and offers eight total NEMA 5-15R outlets that can absorb up to 1470 joules for keeping your devices safe against surges and spikes. To keep your devices powered during blackouts and brownouts, all eight outlets also provide battery power. Other connections offered are serial, USB Type-B, RJ11 phone and RJ45 10/100 Ethernet (1-in, 1-out), and an Emergency Power Off (EPO) port.
This power supply is ENERGY STAR qualified with GreenPower UPS Bypass technology for reducing energy consumption and heat buildup to help save energy costs. Included with the power supply is the PowerPanel Business Edition UPS management software, which enables centralized power management, monitoring, control, and configuration. It also provides for the safe shutdown of connected servers, workstations, and other devices via a standard web browser or network management system (NMS), as well as allows admins to remotely manage each aspect of the UPS, facilitate the orderly automatic shutdown of connected equipment, prioritize outlets, and increase battery backup runtimes for the most critical equipment in the event of an extended power outage. This CyberPower UPS provides a limited lifetime connected equipment guarantee of up to $300,000, a limited 3-year product warranty and includes two rackmount brackets, two vertical stands, a telephone cable, an EPO cable, and a USB Type-A to Type-B cable.

Its good looking (for what it is) and blends in well with other electronics in my entertainment center. Two factors to consider if you’re using this in a gaming or theater room environment. One the weight and two the additional depth needed to plug items in the back will be a problem for smaller/cheaply made entertainment centers. Are far as performance I have a 65 led, PS5, XBOX X Nvida Shield pro, Ubiquti 8 port switch and two fans plugged into. I stress tested each individual item and the XBOX X was the biggest consumer of power. The cyberPower estimated about 25 minutes of runtime while actually gaming. In hindsight I would guess I could have gotten away with a much smaller UPS but the price between the OR1000PFCRT2u and this OR1500PFCRT2U was only $20 bucks at time of sale

UPS arrived earlier than scheduled. Installed easily in rack and has already helped weather a brief power outage. Seems to be detected and working fine with NUT (https://networkupstools.org/) under Gentoo Linux.

We’ve been using this UPS for about a year now and have been very pleased with it so far. It can get loud when under heavy power loads. But we don’t have that happen often. It usually lasts for a few seconds or so. Since we’ve installed this UPS though, we haven’t had any issues with equipment going down. We sometimes get short power outages that can make producing a live show very annoying. So far, this solved all our problems!

I purchased this in 2019. In 2020, just after the warranty expired, the unit beeped and shut itself off, along with my desktop computer. No warnings. No error messages. It powered up a couple of times but is now completely dead. I have a CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD, purchased in 2018 that will also shut off intermittently. I have 3 APC units purchased in 2021 that I haven’t had any problems at all with yet. I won’t buy another CyberPower UPS.

Our CyberPower UPS is working great. Per its display it provides us with 72 minutes of run time. It is easy to install and use. We love it.

Just plugged it in an so far it’s great. I was concerned it might be noisy, but I can’t hear any sound from this thing at all even though its about 5 feet away. It’s pretty heavy so I installed at the bottom of the rack. Got Firewall, Switch, Cable Modem, KVM, PicoCell, and docking station running on it and the front-panel estimates 85-90 minute run time in a power outage (1500VA model). I may experiment with notification features later, but I’m always in the building any time this stuff needs power so I’ll know if the power goes out.

It does what it is supposed to. I will update this in a year or so. The best part was that it was nearly $150 from b&h than Amazon. I started shopping here about 15 years ago when I fell down the dslr rabbit hole. Surprisingly competitive pricing, often cheaper, and never price gouging. Whatever the msrp price is or lower, the last year or two of video cards as an example, always the msrp, not like other retailers.
