The SL700U Standby Series UPS from CyberPower provides surge protection for desktop computers, networks, VoIP devices, and other peripherals against lightning-induced surges and other power events that can damage electronic equipment. It also delivers enough battery backup to connected devices during a utility power failure so you can perform a standard shutdown to protect your devices against any potential data loss. The SL700U features an output capacity of 370W / 700 VA, an input voltage range of 96-140 VAC @ 50/60 Hz ±3 Hz, and has integrated circuitry for EMI/RFI filters.
When running at half capacity, this UPS can power devices for up to 9 minutes. When running with a full load, it can power devices for up to 2 minutes. The SL700U can be recharged in around 8 hours and offers eight total NEMA 5-15R outlets, five of which are equipped with battery and surge protection and can absorb up to 890 joules for keeping your devices safe against surges and spikes. The remaining three outlets only offer surge protection, and one outlet from each grouping is widely spaced to allow for larger plugs to be used without restricting access to standard-spaced outlets. Other connections offered are a NEMA 5-15P input plug with a 5′ cord, a serial port, two USB Type-A charging ports that share 2.4A, and a USB Type-B management port.
This power supply is ENERGY STAR qualified with GreenPower UPS technology for reducing energy consumption and heat buildup to help save energy costs. Included with the power supply is the PowerPanel Business Edition UPS management software, which requires minimal system resources and monitors the status of the UPS to ensure it is working properly. When a power outage does occur, this software automatically saves open files and powers down the system into hibernation mode. When your PC is running in hibernation mode, the power supply will offer a longer runtime. This CyberPower UPS provides a lifetime connected equipment guarantee of up to $100,000.

I got this UPS for my structured media enclosure because it’s the only one that was small enough. It’s well build and does what you’d expect.

Everything arrived early and was exactly as described. Most impressive was that monitoring software was available for my Ubuntu system. All too often the Linux world is ignored by manufacturers. Kudos to CyberPower. All installed and worked without incident. The only thing that’s interesting is that every time I power up my computer the UPS produces a single beep which I presume is its way of telling me that they are talking to each other. Thanks UPS!

Slim Line makes all the difference when you are concerned about the Aesthetics of your workspace. This battery allows for that. We also used these to mount behind our massive 4k tvs to provide additional power protection.

My Dell AiO never skips a beat in a power failure and the downloadable PowerPanel software assures an orderly shutdown before the juice runs out (or after so many minutes or seconds on battery power). The battery is replaceable. It’s slim enough and well ventilated enough to lie on it’s side under my desk and runs cool even when charging. Never had a problem with a CyberPower UPS. Will update if I have a problem down the line, but so far, so good.

I have a couple of NASes and one of them is inside my entertainment center. I did not want a bulky UPS to take up space inside or behind my entertainment center. This slim version of the CyberPower UPS is perfect. It currently handles the NAS, switch, MoCa adapter on the battery + surge protection side and the TV, Xbox Series X on the surge protection only side.

I bought it for my NAS setup and it works as intended. Wish it has wifi capabilities for management apps though. Connecting with through USB type A cable to manage it isn’t very convenient for home office setting.
