I bought these to help me disassemble pallets! The small one is all I could use on certain ones and it’s starting to bend so I moved up to the bigger one and so far it’s been great

I used three of the pin punches right after I purchased them to remove and replace roll pins. All three of them sustained mushrooming damage to their ends. The punches are too soft, and have to be re-shaped after each use. The price was fair for the value of the punches.

Nice to have the variable sizes of punches in this set to handle different size spirol pins that have to be knocked out from time to time on different equipment assemblies in the shop. Well made, very solid and maintain shape even when hit with 3 & 6 pound sledge to drive out larger pins. Highly recommended.

Dasco’s Pro Pin Punch Set is well made and includes all the useful sizes for most jobs. The only wish I had was that it came with a sturdy cloth or hardshell case. That would have been perfect. Price was average.

Precision tool made in the USA for almost the same price as Chinese at that national tool chain. If you wondered when you’d need a ball-peen hammer, it’s the best choice to use on a hinge punch.

Remember that these are made for removing pins that are already loose. You can’t loosen a stuck pin – that’s what a Starter Punch is for. I do lots of machine work, and use these quite often. Quality is good, surface finish is a bit rough. My only real complaint is that they should not paint these, especially on the drive end, the paint just flakes off anyway.

These punches are ergonomically comfortable. They have the right toughness and sufficient machineability to dress them – which seldom is necessary.

I already had the Dasco center punch set and was impressed with those so I decided to try the pin punch set as well. Excellent quality, very well made. For the price you just cant go wrong.
