I was looking for a chisel that was wide enough and long enough to get into a very hard to reach spot. This chisel did the job and allowed me to finish the rest of my repair. It held is edge and didn’t mushroom at the impact end. It was a quality product that was priced right and worked well just like I expect from a Home Depot tool.

For splitting shale or sandstone, this is a good tool. Haven’t tried it as a mortar remover yet.

Good simple tool at a good price. Buy a lot of things from the Home Depot website

worked perfectly. I did have to sharpen the edge a little from time to time, but I just put the sharp edge at the base of the tile at a low angle and hit it with a hammer—it usually popped right up.

Good heft in the chisel made for easy removal of ceramic tile glued on top of old vinyl or linoleum tiles.

I needed to remove mortar from both sides of an 8″ block with access to only one side. After drilling numerous 3/8in holes all the way thru both sides of the mortar with a long concrete bit, it is thin enough to be driven all the way thru the joint to knock out the mortar on the far side.

Come fully assembled. What can a person say? It’s a big iron chisel. Stuff you hit with it gets out of your way. It does what it is supposed to do.
