Excellent tool – only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that I wish the steel was a little harder .

Excellent quality hardened steel Awl. We used this to scratch paint out of hundreds of Phillips head screws in a wooden deck so we could unscrew them. After all the work, digging steel against steel, the tip remained sharp. We also used it to scribe lines across lumber before cutting new wood for our deck. Overall an excellent, high quality product.

Very sturdy and tough awl that I use mainly to mark holes through a wooden template and to anchor a circle drawing jig.

that’s probably its only redeeming quality. tip is slightly bent and covered in burrs. i’ll probably keep because all it will be used for is starting small screw holes, but QC needs to up their game.

It worked for the purpose I bought it for. I can only give it 3 stars because it came bent right out of the package.

Used this tool to mark and start several drill holes in particle boards I was putting together to create an L shaped partition. Definitely made it easier to drill the holes right where I wanted them!
