I bought this punch set after returning a different brand. The first brand came out of the package bent, and went right back to the store. I bought this set because of the thicker construction, and they’ve held up well.The only downside is that they can’t set 18 ga. brad nails without denting the wood around the head – they sacrifice a little bit of precision with their stout design.

I had the same problem as another reviewer, in that the tip of the smaller setter “mushroomed” after a short amount of use. The larger 2 setters have been performed perfectly fine, but are certainly nor recommended for more detailed work, especially window trim.
