Works great for work..the home Depot is the only place around to find Stone Masonry tools!!

The hand protection is a very good design. Without it, my hand would have been badly injured at the 3rd swing. 🙂

This is the one you want, much better built than the Stanley one, which is made in China with junk steel, this Dasco Pro is made right here in the USA and has a much larger striking area and a better point.

If the sleeve is not held firmly when striking the spike the sleeve will slide off the spike, but the spike is feels like sturdy steel.

Worked well for the job I was doing.

It did the job

It worked great. I never hit my hand when I missed the end of the chisel. The only thing I noticed is when you keep striking the end of the chisel, the rubber guard works its way up and you need to hit it back down. Maybe a better, more sticky, rubber for the guard. Only a suggestion!!!

I had to chisel a hole through a brick and cinder block wall in order to run a cable through the wall. It was perfect for the job and it created a neat hole with minimal spalling.

In beating my way through a 4-inch slab the tool performed as well as expected. I used a 3 pound drilling hammer in my effort. The end of the tool being pounded upon did not mushroom much at all from the pounding and the factory tip held up as well as expected. The hand guard is worth every penny.

I had to chip a small area of concrete away from an area that I was going to install pavers. This tool worked great and did the job. I wouldn’t use it for large areas.

Had to remove several concrete / stone steps and chisel worked great with my small hand sledge – highly recommended!
