At first I had trouble connecting them on the ends to the second rope but I finally got it connected and they worked perfect for lighting up the outside of our tent at night. The blue color is great and made it easy to find our camp site in the dark.

This is, by far, the best blue rope light that we have found! I have recommended the Home Depot site as the best source of blue rope lights to my friends. These lights are extremely important to us. They are used to outline wire badges made to honor law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Each badge is unique to the agency involved, and family members display them as memorials to their loved ones.

This rope is very good. I wrapped it around our railing on front porch and it is so bright you can see it driving down the street a block away. When you wrap it of course you trade off on length so I did use 4 lengths ( 2 sets of 2 ropes) but the effect is nice. So 16ft x 4 =64 ft but only covered about 25ft porch railing. I think it is that @@@@ math pi factor. Seriously it is about 3 times brighter than simple 6C LED bulbs like Philips from Target. CON: It comes tightly wound in coil in original box and I don’t think I can ever get it back in box for storage next year.CON: do not lose the rubber rings that keep it water resistant. CON : do not lose the clear end plugs that you remove to connect one section to another.

We purchased this so we could put a block Y in one of our front windows. We used packing tape to shape it and expo markers to trace the shape to lay it over so the shape was right. It worked out great. The neighborhood seems to love it and we have become quite the talk since we also have a red block U in the other front window.
