They are are great for children for outdoor activities at night like Halloween, riding a bike, camping or walks. These 40-lumens light comes in a small recognizable shape of a light bulb and they have a clip to easily attach to a bike, clothing or to carry. They seemed very safe for children. They come with 15 ‘AAA’ batteries (three batteries for each light). The light color is white daylight and there are three choices of bright, very bright, and flashing for emergency. The body comes in four different colors.

I particularly like the metal clip for hanging. We’ve had similar style hanging lights to use inside our tents but with plastic clips, and of course the plastic broke on most of those right away. The metal clips on each function well and you can take them off if you’d rather hang the bulbs on a line.The LED lights are not replaceable but they uses 3 AAA batteries, included and already installed, and those are replaceable. 3 modes, bright enough, a little brighter and a spastic fast flashing mode. You can read a book by the brightest mode if the bulb is located close to where you’re reading. Reasonably priced for a pack of 5, I’m using a few in my set for stocking stuffers. Base colors are bright pink, bright green, orange and a count of 2 light turquoise. The bulbs and light are white.
