The compact laptop features a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-10210U quad-core processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a fast 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drive to quickly load a variety of applications for web browsing, email, word processing, and more. Additionally, its built-in artificial intelligence technologies help optimize performance and battery life when you’re on the road. The laptop also includes a 15.6″ 1920 x 1080 resolution VA (Vertical Alignment) display with integrated Intel UHD graphics that shows documents, photos, and videos with crystal clear clarity. Files can be copied onto the computer using the built-in microSD card reader.
Connect a wireless keyboard and mouse adapter to the USB 2.0 port while reserving the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports for transferring data from compatible devices at up to 5 Gb/s. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port is also available, which supports both DisplayPort monitors and Power Delivery. A second external display can be connected to the laptop’s HDMI port, giving you a larger viewing space for multitasking and presentations. Video chat using the Latitude’s 720p webcam and fast 802.11ax Wi-Fi connection, or using the Gigabit Ethernet port for a wired network connection. You can plug a headset into the 3.5mm audio port or connect a wireless Bluetooth device. Your data is secured by an integrated Trusted Platform Module that encrypts your data while the Latitude 3510 itself has a Noble Wedge lock slot for added security. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed on the system.

This computer processes quickly, however, there has been an issue with connectivity to the internet. A service tech diagnosed the issue as a software issue, and a software tech worked to resolve the issue (the tech was excellent, very patient & professional). The connectivity issue was resolved, however, when a Windows update was installed on the machine, the problem has returned and the computer will not connect to the internet. I’ve owned the computer for less than 3 months, and it has never connected property to the internet, and now I’m having to pay to have it fixed. I have owned Dell computers for nearly 20 years, and this is the first time an issue like this has occurred. It is very frustrating to purchase a computer that never connected to the internet properly, then have to pay to get it fixed. Very frustrating.

Somewhat disappointed in this product. Seems to be a tremendous amount of background overhead constantly running and slowing things down. Hard drive spins almost non-stop. On top of all that Dell force feeds some of their own utilities that pop up just about every time the system refreshes or boots. In hindsight the Dell I had previously from my company’s IT dept ran much more efficiently, even with all the corporate overhead processes and VPN running in the background. You can do better than this Dell! At some point I will probably just nuke the entire OS and turn this into a Linux machine.
