Dell KB216 Dell Wired Keyboard. Some keys on my Dell Laptop stopped working, it was quite aggravating, so I looked to Dell online and found a wide selection. It was easy to place the order, and it arrived within a few days, as scheduled. I am pleased with the new keyboard, I just plugged it in and began typing. Thank you. I am no longer aggravated!

I am getting used to this keyboard BUT !! Just wish the keys were MORE raised. I find that letters are “skipped” … have to be more forceful when typing. Too, this keyboard, when typing, isn’t as “gliding” smoothly.

It seems to be decent quality, but nowhere near as nice as my older Dell multimedia keyboard. It is smaller than I expected, and the keys are a little too close together for those with large hands and long fingers. The palm rest does not fit well, due to lack of support in the middle. On older models, there is a tab in the middle of the palm rest that attaches to the keyboard. This one only has a small rubber support. It causes the palm rest to sag in the middle, which is disappointing, especially considering how expensive it is. If I had to make the purchasing decision over again, I would go with another brand.

This keyboard is awesome, best for a dev like me. For anyone who is having trouble with print screen. Please read the instruction here: https://www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukdhs1/sln69262/how-to-use-the-print-screen-key-in-microsoft-windows-operating-systems?lang=en You should press Windows + Print Screen or Alt + Print Screen. Print Screen alone wouldn’t work. Don’t forget to hold the Fn key.

A very good keyboard, light weight works well
Murphy Koelpin (verified owner) –
The keyboard is too big, and the distance between every single key also too wide.

Low noise keys just like I like.

This keyboard came at no additional charge with my last Dell XPS 4 years ago. When it stopped working recently, I ordered another to replace it. It was a pleasant surprise the same model was still in stock. I used an older Dell keyboard I had sitting around while waiting for the replacement to arrive, and wasn’t used to the feel of it anymore. I’d come to like the firmer touch of this keyboard and the compact size, without the palm rest of the older model. While I’m not thrilled that it died after 4 years, it’s not like losing a $100 gaming keyboard. It’s only about $20. It’s a keyboard. It works. And if not for the pandemic and supply chain problems affecting graphics cards, I’d have bought a new XPS 2 years ago and never known the keyboard didn’t last forever.

I would expect better than 2-key rollover on a keyboard like this. Definitely not n-key rollover, but 2 key rollover makes this keyboard seem prehistoric in comparison to others I have. I know it’s not intended for gaming, but I can’t even use this for basic games because it won’t register more than 2 key presses at once.

Bought it a few months ago, my wife uses the key board so much she kept wearing out the batteries. She love this one better.

works great! The white keya are much easier to see.

I would have given the keyboard a 5 star rating if it had the little bumps on the F and J keys to identify where to place your fingers. I don’t look at the keyboard when I’m typing and know where to place my hands when I feel the bumps on the F and J keys. This keyboard had me typing a row off several times.

I love my keyboard! It’s very slim, which I like a lot, and is an overall great product. Thank you!!

The protrusion on the f key is a failure, too flat to work.

Comfortable keyboard, no batteries required (wired), not noisy, tilt height, low profile with firm feet. Great quality for the price!
