I bought this in December and I have always loved Dell products! But this one does not have a USB plug, it has a smaller plug, which you have to buy a cord to attach to USB… I don NOT UNDERSTAND the reason for this!! When ordered no one mentioned this to me?? And I have to plug up to a device to use for dvds and such?? Not like any of the other products I have ordered before??

The structural build and durability quality was not impressive, but that seems to be with most products these days. However, the product performed excellently using it to load software from a CD.

I haven’t played with the DVD drive that much, but what little I have, it is everything I expected in a DVD drive. It would have been nice if it came with software to play DVD movies without going out to find one.

Still haven’t been able to view videos due to a MSVCR71 code failure. Working with Dell to correct but shouldn’t have been this large of an issue. Code seens to be common on internet.
