Although the drive appears a bit flimsy, it seems to work well for me. I don’t do anything very demanding only using it to copy so old CDs containing music MP3 files and some family photographs for archiving on an external hard drive or on USB thumb drives. A bit difficult loading CDs, but otherwise a good drive for the money.

Works just like it is supposed to work. Unfortunately, some of the programs I had on my older computer were not able to be copy and pasted. I had to use the original install disc, thus I had to purchase this unit to install the program. It is still cheaper than having to subscribe to the software annually.

Would rather the DVD drives be installed in the desktop. This external drive uses up a valuable usb port and comes with a very short usb cable. Unit has to be set on the top of the computer.

I bought this system and did not try it until after the 30 day return period had ended. It is so under provisioned with only a 32GB SSD that you cannot do anything with it except maybe browse the internet. There is only 9GB left for software and user files.
