   Dell is the best Computer product. Having a Dell Chrome it was easy to connect the Dell USB Slim DVD+/RW Drive-DW316-SnP. Also I worked with the Veterans Affairs and most of their computers were Dell. Very durable and dependable product. Mainly my go to computer is Dell and its products.

   Works as expected through Lightning port. Needed this to load previously owned software to my new (and awesome) XPS 15. Also used to play DVDs to my Roku TV without any delays in playing.

   I regret buying this gadget, instead I should have bought a pc that has this internal DVD. This is a hassle. I should spend a little more on a PC and avoid the hassle.

    I will be using this DVD drive to watch movies on my new Inspiron AIO computer. Setup was complicated by the fact that the instruction sheet that came with the unit was not in English. It was necessary for me to contact Dell Premium Support for help before the drive would show up in File Explorer. The thing works fine once it gets through its initialization sequence with its little noises.

    I bought this with my new computer. I was under the impression that it would play Blu-ray dvds but when I try to play one it cannot find it. I would not recommend it if you want to lay Blu-ray dvd.

    I purchased this item because my Laptop did have a DVD/CD player. The price was fair. It connected very easy and simple via USB connection and started working immediately. Love the simplicity!

    I know that “slim line” is all the rage, but honestly, if it were a little sturdier I would be less nervous about it. Seems to work fine.
