   I have been using a laptop for many years now and was hesitant to choose an all in one desktop. I purchased the Inspiron 7777. I love the speed and performance. My applications are more responsive than ever before. I operate two accounting software packages, use Excell and Word, use Neat Scanner, as well as surfing the internet. I am very pleased with yet another great product from Dell. I purchase the Dell USB Slim DVD +/- RW drive for downloading software from CDs. Very pleased with this external drive. Thank you.

   Plug and play…almost. You must load drivers before it will operate as Windows 11 has no drivers for it. I consider this a Microsoft issue. I loaded the drivers using the CD/DVD disk that came with the unit and there were no issues playing CDs and DVDs. I recommend it.

    Like this better than I thought I would. In my office, I still need to load orthodontic/dental software by disc. It is convenient to keep the disk in, move it from work station to work station, and when I am done, put it back in the box. One less drive to worry about on each machine and reduces the weight of my laptops.
