This device is easy to setup and started quickly with Windows 10. My only minor concern is that the slide that comes ot to hold the DVD/CD doesn’t fully extend so have to be careful insertion the disc (makes it a bit clumsy). This survey site doesn’t work very well.

Great product…but DVD R/Ws have been around for decades, so difficult to not get it right. Worked well right out of the box…like it’s supposed to. Came with appropriate software CD, but works just fine with freeware like VLC. However, Dell was extremely slow to ship this small item. They had no problem trying to upgrade me on a laptop with “next day shipping,” but this took two weeks.

The DVD works well. At first I did not know it was working because no lights came on when I connected it to the PCs USB port. Only after I pressed the “eject” button, did the light on the DVD light up. it’s just a bit confusing.

It’s okay. Not the best. It couldn’t read some of my older (2012) dvd’s with family pictures on them, I thought they were toast. But decided to try them again on an older laptop that has a drive built, they worked perfectly fine and I was able to get all the pictures off. Glad I didn’t toss them thinking they couldn’t be read.
