Streamlined, easy to use. Software pops right up when disc is inserted. I like how it is external, allowing the laptop to be lighter, cooler, saves battery. Haven’t tried downloading onto a blank disk yet, but uploading from software cd’s and watching movies runs smooth as butter.

The DVD+RW is made of very light flimsy material. It needs to be more sturdy. You have to treat it delicately and place on a solid surface otherwise it will fall off the surface. I don’t care for the plug and play disc either. It doesn’t automatically load. You have to go in the file and select setup to get it going and then you are given no indication where the program is in the installation as it doesn’t display readily on the desktop. You have to go find downloads to watch the process otherwise you may think its finished when its not. And tell my why Dell sells outdated programs with its equipment? As soon as I loaded it the update was displaying. I just got this Feb 2020 and the plug and play program is 2 years old.
