Your Dell USB Slim DVD product worked as advertised. I am fully satisfied with its performance.
Aliza Altenwerth (verified owner) –
Great buy to play movies and music on the go.
Adella Schimmel (verified owner) –
A “bargain” drive would not play homemade CDs and some Record label CDs. Paid a little more for the Dell but worth it; no problems. Relatively quiet, too.
Manley Russel (verified owner) –
Really noisy drive. For the price that Dell charges for these things, you would think they would make sure that they have sourced a nice product and not some cheapie third rate product.
Darrick Steuber (verified owner) –
Plug is too short for use with desktop computer. It would be better suited to laptop computer. It does seem to work OK.
Cali Crooks (verified owner) –
It was easy to install and operate the Drive. Dell, thank you.
Hailey Leffler (verified owner) –
I haven’t set up this computer yet but since it’s a DELL, I have no worries. Dells are the very best!
Hans Shields (verified owner) –
So far works as advertised.

A little flimsy but does what it’s suppose to do.

Worked right out of the box, plug n play not plug n pray

Great Product offered at great price!

Slim and quiet! Perfect to take along when traveling. I was surprised to see that modern laptops don’t have cd drives built in anymore! Luckily this does the trick!
Marcus Franecki (verified owner) –
Great, but wish it had a USB-C connection
Era Hansen (verified owner) –
This works great but I still kind of prefer having it built into the monitor
Kariane Olson (verified owner) –
Works perfect. Great quality and speed. Very easy to use.
Julia Ebert (verified owner) –
I was able to connect it, but it would not play my dvd.
Armando Smith (verified owner) –
Works okay but surprised a bit by the noise.
Elsie Deckow (verified owner) –
Great addition to my new touch screen computer I can make slideshows, store photos & watch movies.

I find the DW316 Drive works well once you can figure it out. there is no documentation that coes with it . ai went on line and got the info I needed to get my Software Disks uploaded but I still haven’t figured out how to play my exercise dvds on the drive.. The ability to watch my exercise dvds on my computer screen instead of my TV screen with my other dvd player was the reason I picked the DW316. So I am a bit disappointed.

Great addition for computer or laptop that doesn’t have an optical drive.
