I was surprised – even shocked at how flimsy this DVD drive is. When you press the button the drive pops out about 20%. You then pull it out the rest of the way, carefully snap the disc in place so as not to break the mechanism, and then push the drive back in. At least it works. I was surprised that Dell would make a drive like this. I haven’t used it much but trust that it will work. You have to handle with kid gloves.
