I didn’t really want an external drive; however, none of the configurations for the laptops I was looking at offered a DVD-RW drive. I’ve never had a laptop that didn’t have a DVD-RW so having to keep up with the external drive wasn’t ideal. After purchasing this one I was glad it was much slimmer than others I had seen and I have a nice case to keep it in so it doesn’t get damaged and when I have to carry my laptop on trips, thats important to me. While I didn’t want an external DVD-RW drive, I have been pleased with how well this drive works and that it doesn’t get in my way when working. While I would still prefer an internal DVD-RW drive, this slim external drive is better than I expected.
