Haven’t used it yet but have not had any problems with Dell products.

The drive itself works well enough, but the software supplied with it, an app disk for CyberLink Media Suite 12, did not function properly. I needed a time-consuming call with Dell Tech Support to get a more functional media app downloaded

The drive itself works fine but I’m not particularly impressed with the accompanying software. My initial attempt to use the drive to add music to ITunes from a CD was very frustrating. It caused ITunes to lock up. I eventually figured out a workaround with respect to the sequence of steps.

Works great for what I needed it for.

I recently purchased a Dell laptop and foolishly bought a no-name drive made who knows where. I retuned that one and bought the Dell. Plug and play and no issues.

Must-have & original quility.

It does the job. I do wish it was in the machine. I have a whole bunch of disks to use and they can’t be used without the drive. I know the movement is to replace the drive with thumb sticks. That isn’t a bad thing, but I would still like the drive in my machine. I have used the drive once so far and it worked well.

What can you say, but it works just fine. I used a few Velcro strips to just mount to top of computer

I needed a DVD drive on my new Dell XPS 17 and this was the perfect solution. It was easy to attach and autoconfigured. It came with a software CD with a music playing program which installed easily. In less than 30 minutes I was playing an audio CD. You need a USB-A to USB-C connection on the newest laptops. In my case, one was provided.

Slim light piece, easy to set up. What more to say? The little I tested it out it worked fine.
