   My laptop does not have a dvd drive and I needed this external dvd drive to play audio CD, ripping a manufactured audio CD to MP3, playing a manufactured DVD, burning an audio CDR, Installing software from a CD-ROM, Copying files to a CDR, and Reading files from a CDR. I’m also glad that I can burn a DVD, copy files to a DVD-R, and Reading files from a DVD-R. I have been handicap using my laptop but now I can do it all. The drive is nice, slim, and easy to use.

    I didn’t realize how much I really used a CD/DVD player until I didn’t have one. Since I’ve had such good luck with Dell products, I went with Dell again for this. It was easy to set up. I was able to access my husbands x-rays from the disc the dr. supplied. I was also able to watch a movie, which I’ve never done before. I love this external player.
