You should give me far better instructions. There was one link to open in another device, but I did not have it close at tht time. I cannot find that link. I have worked on computers since the late 60-ies. This should not be this hard. My fingerprint does not seem to work — I have trouble with that also with my Global Entry.

My new Dell computer didn’t come with a DVD drive, and I’m an old DVD user, so I ordered the DW316 to go with the desktop all-in-one. The new drive does everything I ask it to do, so what could be better than that? I have owned several Dell products and all have performed at least as expected. The DW316 is no exception!

Excellent speed, so easy to connect and use. We had a built in DVD unit on our last laptop, this one works just a seamlessly as if it were built in. Now we can move the DVD between two of our laptops as needed. Thanks for a beautiful design and excellent integration into your laptops.

Plays DVD Movies/Videos/Burns PERFECT !!! Powerful little Machine in a lightweight Case. Plugged it in and IMMEDIATELY my NEW DELL Desktop Inspiron 3891 recognized it, AND Installed/Updated Drivers, Put small ashtray weight on top of it. Hit Turn On Button and it slides backwards(light). NO pesky Driver Disk to run(had CyberLink Media Suite 12 Disk but did not want)!!! Worth the low cost, but time will tell. ONLY downfall was NOT being able/a choice at checkout, to buy an INTERNAL Optical Drive for my Tower.
