   My previous PC had a DVD drive built in for something I use once/twice a year. It’s nice to have this is stand-alone. My PC is so thin and light weight. I loaded the software to use this device and it was all pretty simple, but I know if I have issue the fabulous Dell Support team will be there to help me!

   This is just what I needed after a drop loosened the CD drive on an older laptop to the point where it can’t read disks anymore. I can also use this on my newer laptop that doesn’t have a CD drive to install software I keep on disks.

    Had to restart the CD for install 3 times. Seems like the reader wasn’t seeing the CD. I haven’t tried another CD, or burning a DVD yet, so I hope it’s better than when I installed the software.

    Drive works fine once one remembers to load the player software. A bit wabby, but good value.
