The door is very flimsy and can be broken easily. One the disk is in it works fine.

Great size for a portable DVD drive. Purchased it to go along with my wife’s Inspiron 14 5000 2 in 1 laptop. Great synergy so far. Sturdy, well made, has anti-slip feet to assure drive stays put. Also purchased a Dell case for the Inspiron which has a front zippered pocket in which the laptop power cord, a portable wifi mini-mouse and the slim drive all fit nicely.

This device adds a convenient, cool dimension to the newer laptops that don’t have the drives built in. It’s slim, it’s light, and it’s practically not there until you need it. Then bam! A place to save your work and play your DVD’s presents itself with the utmost convenience. What a great addition to any laptop!!!

Using Windows 10, which automatically recognized drive, no extra drivers required. Burned music CD quickly. Plastic case is delicate and should be carried in some protective case.
