I’ve bought Dell computers for years. They used to come with QuickStart guides, file transfer utilities, either disk or cables supported by drivers, Windows startup was left to Windows. Now we have none of that. Literally, you can tick off item by item on my list that have become seriously Irritating. Still, it’s a nice machine, but the Vulture Capitalist owners have cut all of that out, grubbing for every nickel. I wouldn’t by dell again. Buyer beware. I would absolutely not recommend dell to a friend

While this device is functional, the lack of internal drives is a nuisance that requires one to buy this item. An option to add an internal drive in the associated PC would be nice and there appears to be ample room in the computer body for one.

I’ve been digitizing my CD collection, and when I think of how slow it’s been and how many times I had to redo things because of errors, I wish I’d gone with a Dell model from the start.

I don’t know yet as my new XPS 17 arrived and would not start. Tested with support. Dell ordered me another one but as of order date almost 6 weeks delivery…. so far therefore since I can’t hook it up yet, I have no idea.
