Just plug it into your usb on laptop or tower, find a good solid setting place for the drive, and it works great! It solved my problem when my computer’s cd-rom drive stopped working due to the cable connections… I would recommend Dell and Dell products if you need help.

It’s ok. I have only used it once so far. Seems very flimsy compared with the one my son bought from Dell a few years back. I had not realized my new computer didn’t have a CD/DVD drive and so needed one at the ready as needed. It worked. But I feel like it needs to be handled with care.

The Quick Start guide needs to include a note that states the CD or DVD needs to snapped in place before it will work.

The drive works just fine. I worry a bit about using it though, because it is a flimsy piece of equipment and I am afraid I could damage it when inserting the disc. So far so good however.
