I normally go with a higher end wireless logitech combo. But after repeated delayed messages over several months, I got tired of waiting for the global supply chain chaos of 2020/2021 to resolve and decided to give the Dell Premier keyboard mouse combo a try. To my surprise, I like the Dell combo much more than I expected. In fact, I actually love it. The keys are very quiet and responsive, with a solid punch and great spring back, so they facilitate quick and accurate typing. While some may not like the super thin profile, in conjunction with the key design , it reduces hand/wrist fatigue (even more so if you add the MX thin keyboard palm/wrist rest, which I did and love). And it was plug and play. I actually like the Dell combo so much that I bought a 2nd to replace the logitech K800/MK mouse combo I use at my work office. The Dell uses a much smaller profile, which frees up space on my desk for other stuff. I do miss the hyperscrolling feature of the MK mouse, but I have the logitech dongle, so can use the MK with the Dell keyboard. However, the Dell mouse fits the hand nicely, and has better productivity options via bluetooth connection to multiple devices. The Dell combo looks minimalistic, but sleek (it is still a full keyboard, though). Overall it’s nice looking, comfortable, and efficient. The only other thing I kind of miss is the illuminated keys. But not having the extra battery drain is a fair trade off, since the Dell doesn’t have usb charging. I do use the Panasonic enloop batteries, but don’t know how long they’ll last with all day typing. I’ve used the Dell keyboard/mouse for ~ 35 hours and the enloops are still going strong. The only other thing I’d like to mention is that the Dell keyboard/mouse is great for report writing/office productivity. However, I doubt it would be a fantastic gaming keyboard for traditional use. I suppose enlargement could be made that the Dell combo could be highly beneficial if you need to do a lot of monitor/device switching for live streaming or multi-tasking. However, I only use wired peripherals for gaming, so don’t really know for sure. I just wanted to mention it in case anyone wanted to know..

The mouse is very nice, works beautifully. It is the keyboard that took me by surprise. The first aspect of it I noticed was the action of the keys. There is no slop in them. They feel firm and reliable, and they return from a push very quickly. It is solid. It feels great. It is the best keyboard I have ever owned.

This an obvious upgrade to the “pro” model combo kit

My previous Dell keyboard and mouse started getting sticky so I replaced those items with the premier version.

Works well, lots of options/buttons on the mouse. Make sure you have both a wired keyboard and mouse to set up a new computer as the wireless ones don’t connect until windows is up and running.

Have now been using the keyboard for a week. Using with two computers. Computer 1 is a work computer and the keyboard and mouse are connected by the supplied wireless dongle. Computer 2 is a personal laptop with the keyboard and mouse connected by bluetooth. Setup went well with no issues encountered following the instructions provided. Use has really been outstanding. Can’t begin to tell you how nice it is to have a single keyboard and mouse for multiple laptops and less wires running across my desk. Transition using the buttons is fairly smooth and fast. A little lag so not instantaneous. Additionally nice when I just need to mouse and can switch it without switching the keyboard. Highly recommend this product for those needing this capability. Future improvements would be to have the capability to shut off one of the connections. Currently when switching between systems, the keyboard and mouse have three connections and cycle through the third connection to get to the first one. Would be nice to shut off whatever connections are not being used. Additionally when cycling through, if I pause on the third connection, my personal laptop picks up there is another device to connect to. Minor issues. Additionally appreciate the Dell connection software that makes it easy to program buttons on the keyboard and mouse to various functions to create shortcuts.

This keyboard and mouse combination is fantastic for using with multiple devices, in my case 2 PC’s and one laptop. The ability to quickly press a button and switch over and use the same keyboard and mouse is a real game changer for a home office set up.

Excellent quality product. Its more weighted than the other keyboard and mouse bundle but definitely feels more premium and durable.

I appreciate the full sized keyboard and the comfortable grip of the mouse. The batteries last and last, which is great!

Love the keyboard, especially the soft feel and quietness of the keys. Even though I only use it on my desktop P.C., I still like not having a cord stretched across my desk or routed anywhere for that matter. Have had these over a week and so far connections seem very stable and reliable (both Bluetooth & Dongle). The mouse, on the other hand, in my opinion, is cheaply made and probably won’t last very long. To replace the battery, you have to pop off the top side that comprise the two operating buttons which are really just part of the plastic top that bends down when pressed to push another plastic tab against the actual mechanism underneath. Also, the scroll wheel has a tight spot in the middle of scrolling that tends to cause pressure downward which then activates whatever you have the wheel button function assigned to (in my case it mutes my sound).
