With support for NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, the S2419HGF 24″ 16:9 TN Gaming Monitor from Dell is designed to offer an enhanced gaming experience complete with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time. In addition to enhanced responsiveness, this monitor offers enhanced ergonomics, allowing you to adjust the height of the monitor as well as tilt, pivot, and swivel it into place for maximum gaming comfort.
Setup and configuration is simple as the gaming monitor comes equipped with both DisplayPort and two HDMI inputs as well as one USB 3.1 Gen 1 input and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 outputs ports. Once configured, viewers and gamers benefit from a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution display, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a brightness rating of 350 cd/m². The monitor also features 160° horizontal and 170° vertical viewing angles.

Once you adjust the panel’s coloring, contrast, brightness, etc. nothing comes close to the price to performance on this panel, excellent buy! Especially if you pick it up on sale! Viewing angles are not atrocious as many people will lead you to believe with a TN panel and if you use it as your primary monitor it’s outstanding. The monitor is labeled as FreeSync however Nvidia graphics cards will be able to take advantage of the variable high refresh frames thanks to their recent update (Be sure to use a displayport cable!)

The monitor screen is perfect, BUT there are some issues that I would like to address. Firstly, I paid almost $200 for this monitor and it does’t come with a display port cable. Secondly, why is it that the only way to actually reach 144Hz is from overclocking the monitor. Lastly, why are there no speakers in the monitor, like I said, I paid almost $200 for this, I would at least expect some speakers in this. I’m paying for the whole package, not just the screen. Frankly, there are a lot more monitors that are far better for the same price if not cheaper.

Beautiful picture quality for a TN. Near-ips level. Needs slight calibration (out of the box slightly washed out), but after spending 10 minutes changing a few settings (lower all colors gain/offset settings except for the blues by 1%, reduce Gamma to .7 in Nvidia Color Profile, everything just pops so nicely. 155hz easy to hit with one click OC in the monitor menu, very easy to do. Amazing stand, amazing panel. Seriously considering getting a second for an awesome dual monitor set up.

For the money, you can’t beat this monitor. The only down sides I can think of were the viewing angles, which were not that big of a deal and how it is only 1080p, but this is fine because it is only 24 inches. Overall great monitor for only 100 dollars, unbeatable.
