I can not get a good doneness on steak. The heat does not stay up to 5, and that causes the steak to cook to slow and looses it’s tenderness. I am disapointed in that factor of the element.

I didn’t expect to like this appliance but I am pleasantly surprised. It grills beautifully! So far we’ve used it for burgers, pork and turkey loins, and chicken breasts and thighs. All cooked evenly, had lovely grill marks and tasted just like they’d been cooked on our regular outdoor grills. Clean up was easy and we experienced no grease splatter.

Love love love this indoor grill. Although it’s not smokeless, It doesn’t produce much (if any) smoke. Which I am super happy about and I’ve used it numerous times. Cooking: salmon, shrimp, chicken breast, burgers and bacon. Clean up isn’t so bad either. It also heats up and cools down really quick when adjusting the temperature based on how you are cooking your food.
