Easy to use easy to clean. Makes great fries in a short time. I only use it to make french fries making sure no one fry is small enough to pass through the mesh basket. As such the oil remains clean and can be used 4 to 5 times. I do not fry veal, chicken, fish or eggplants unless I am prepared to change the oil each time. If I fry empanadas I change the oil for shortening and use it only once. Home depot offered it at the best price and delivered it to my store at no charge.

Had the previous version of this fryer for 10+ years when this one died on us suddenly… we purchased another brand in a pinch, we had no idea that the same fryer was still available. Needless to say we were not thrilled with the other brand and went back to the DeLonghi fryer. The only thing that we dislike with this newer model is the power cord connection.

This is a great product. The large basket holds alot of food and the lid keeps everything contained. This is my second unit because the first one just wore out from all of our use. I was happy to see it was still available. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a counter sized deep frier.
