We purchased a Delonghi Cool Touch Deep Fryer about 10 years ago. We loved it so much, we decided to purchase this same exact deep fryer for a gift for my Mom. She had been through several brands & our Delonghi just kept on frying. It heats up fast. The sturdy basket is decent sized. The basket’s easy up & down feature allows you to close the lid before dropping the basket into the hot oil. This helps prevent splattering and contains the grease smell. The temperature seems accurate, even after 10 years. Once you master the cooking times & temperatures, everything comes out perfect. Makes the best homemade french fries! We love the easy drain feature and that you can store the oil in the deep fryer for several uses since the lid closes securely. After just one use, Mom says it works great!! Don’t let the price prevent you from purchasing this deep fryer. It is worth the price and will last for many years to come.
