We bought and enjoyed the previous model to this one until it started leaking from the reservoir. This updated version arrived and is impressive except for the carafe. The black plastic lip dribbles the coffee. We also don’t like how cheap it feels. We saved our carafe from the previous model and it works perfectly with this new machine. We recommend this product, but you’ll want to use a different carafe!

PROS: We have have bought this same model three times. The door that slides forward and to the left allows for the coffee filter (and coffee) as well as adding the water to be done with out lifting up, so it fits under a standard kitchen cabinet and you don’t have to pull it out to lift the top as with most other coffee makers. This model seems to be the only one that has this feature that we have found. Very efficient with clock and timer.CON: Like I said above, this is the third one we have bought (first from Home Depot). They last about 2-3 years before they begin to leak (water, not coffee already made), even with cleaning regularly. We thought maybe it was just a defect that came to life with the first one, but when the second one did the same, it is something in the product itself. This (third) one may be better as they may have discovered the problem. Even with the lifespan only 2-3 years, we still like this model enough to buy a third one, however was not willing to pay 79.00- 99.00 which has been the pricing over the years at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, etc. When I searched and found Home Depot carried it only online and would mail it right to me for 59.00, my search was over. Even if it leaks in 2-3 years, I would still buy the model again.

Once one figures out how to use this machine, it does a good job in making coffee. Comes with a stainless steel filter which is useless. Usethe paper ones that are available anywhere. On the top is supposed to be a warmer for your coffee cup. That is also useless.If one is careful in using it, it should last a long time. Why the good rating? Makes excellent coffee!

I LOVE this coffeemaker. No more pulling the coffee maker forward to pour water in the back. Love that! NO more lifting the lid to add coffee.I read that some people had a problem with these leaking. I recently discovered why this happened….. it had to be because they did not have the plastic liner inside the place where the coffee goes. I do not use the gold mesh permanent liner. I use paper but you still have to keep the re moveable black plastic liner in the place where you put the coffee. All done from the front.Great tasting coffee too!

We found this coffee maker easy to use. Our upper cabinets hang low over our kitchen counters.The front load water compartment and coffee filter are filled easily. With a wide easy grip handle for openingto use these containers. The coffee stays hot and is easy to see and pour. Our Machine was 7 years old.Then it stopped working. We cannot find a replacement to fit our kitchen needs.

Clean look. Easy to understand. My only issue regards its claim to be easily operable from the front only. Not requiring you to pull the device towards you to load up and run. It is possible, but a funnel would make it much easier. The opening is narrow and does not allow filling from the carafe in one attempt as you cannot upend the carafe and keep it in the opening. Otherwise, good coffee maker. Flavorful and aroma setting works well. Satisfied with purchase.

Awesome coffee love the front conscience for addingwater and coffee. No mess. Warming tray on top is slightly warm. But having cups in cabinet is cold. Clock and timer is the old style. Hold button down and run through 24 hours to set time. Be careful not to go pass your time or you’ll be running the 24 hour clock. Finger gets tired. Coffee has been awesome.
